The JGA Calendar of events is
published each year and covers the period January 1st to December 31st.
Events listed in the JGA Calendar include
JGA qualifying tournaments,
Member club tournaments
and
Approved
Charity Tournaments.
The JGA Calendar is circulated to all Golf Clubs in Jamaica, all current JGA
members in our email databank and to all member Associations comprising the
Caribbean Golf Association. It is also updated on a regular basis on the JGAs
website each time the Association is notified of a change and a three month
calendar is featured in the JGAs newsletter SWINGS which is published every two
months.
JGA Qualifying Tournaments
presented by the JGA or by Member Clubs are used for determining Order of Merit
point allocation and for qualifying players to compete in National Trials.
National Trials are a part of the process of selecting players to represent
Jamaica in regional and international tournaments.
Club Tournaments
are organised and presented by the member clubs as part of the clubs ongoing
activities for their members. As a service to its Member Clubs, the JGA
will provide complimentary listing of all
Club
Tournaments
on its Tournament Calendar.
